Scott Vallow - Train Like a Champion SideKick® and Scott Vallow

Scott Vallow had a 12-year career as a professional goalkeeper in Major League Soccer and the United Soccer Leagues and was recently named one of the top 10 USL players of the last decade. He now trains some of the best women professionals in the world as Assistant Coach of the Western New York Flash, 2011 champions of the Womens Professional Soccer League. He also owns Train Like A Champion, a goalkeeper academy in Rochester, NY.

Scott has been a SideKick user for over two years. He praises SideKick’s versatility and amazing repeatability. "SideKick gives me the ability to put the ball in the same spot over and over again, which is crucial in the development of goalkeepers. We can put various spins on the ball, as well as dipping, swerving, knuckling.”

From youth to professionals, we regularly hear that players love training with SideKick. While shooting the video below, Brittany Cameron, goalkeeper for the WNY Flash, spontaneously said, "It is so much fun, especially when Scott turns it up to level 8 or 10. 8 is crazy." Of his youth players, Scott says "the kids love it" and beg for more time to train with SideKick. When players have fun, they work harder and improve faster.
